Fifteen DS2–DS3 Logosians recently took part in the “Chill-dren” Series: AEON Dream Career Experience Programme, where they stepped into the role of shop assistants and gained first-hand insight into the daily operations of the retail industry.
During the programme, students were involved in restocking goods and checking inventory in the warehouse, organising products on shelves, and assisting customers with enquiries. Through hands-on tasks, they learned about the procedures and expectations of retail work, while also developing attentiveness, patience, responsibility, and teamwork.
Students shared that restocking was more physically demanding than they had expected, and that the experience helped them understand the importance of discipline and commitment in the workplace. Others found the activities enjoyable and challenging, gaining a deeper understanding of how a retail store operates.
This meaningful experience enabled Logosians to learn beyond the classroom, broaden their horizons, and explore future career possibilities in an authentic working environment. The School would like to express its sincere gratitude to AEON for providing our students with this valuable learning opportunity.
